Skunked at J/24 Worlds

Published on August 30th, 2018

Riva del Garda, Italy (August 30, 2018) – After three days of postcard competition for the 2018 J/24 World Championship, Lake Garda today proved too fickle for any races to occur.

After seven races, American Will Welles’ Kaster holds a seven-point advantage over Nobuyuki Imai’s Siesta of Japan with Daniel Frost’s JJOne of Germany 14 points off the lead in third.

Up to 10 races are planned for the 89 teams from 14 countries from August 27 to 31.
