American Magic reveals test boat

America’s Cup challenger American Magic (USA) took a very public step toward their goal when they splashed their AM38 test boat, better known as the MULE, to test theory and skill. Half the size of the AC75 racing boats set to be used in the 36th America’s Cup (Auckland, New Zealand, 2021), the MULE has the New York Yacht Club team now flying across Narragansett Bay near Newport, Rhode Island.
