Still sailing after all these years

Published on November 18th, 2018

The Star of India, the world’s oldest active sailing ship, went for a sail November 17 and 18 in its homeport of San Diego, CA. Built in 1863, it had been five years since the last time the 278-footer (sparred length) had sailed. The Star of India has circumnavigated the globe twenty-one times.
