Slow start for RS Feva North Americans

Published on August 1st, 2019

Larchmont, NY (August 1, 2019) – Forty-eight teams have gathered for the 2019 RS Feva North American Championship with the three races today held in 3-6 knots. The variable conditions made consistency a task that some mastered while others endured.

Braden Joyce and Benjamin Sweetland of Cedar Point Yacht Club dominated the day with two firsts and a second, followed in second by last year’s Champions Freddie Parkin and Asher Beck from American Yacht Club who managed to stay in the hunt with a 2-6-1. The top ranked girls team and third place overall is Layla Alogna and Georgia Theodorsen of Milford Yacht Club.

Racing concludes tomorrow with a slightly better forecast of 5-7 knots.
