Club 420 Class Triple Crown

Published on August 7th, 2019

Justin and Mitchell Callahan were awarded the Club 420 Class Triple Crown, established in 2013 to honor youth sailors (skipper and crew) for achievement in winning on aggregated points in a series of designated championship Club 420 races throughout the course of a single year.

The Callahans won the North Americans and the Buzzards Bay Regatta and were runner-up in US Nationals. Finishing second in the overall standings was Liam O’Keefe with Cordelia Burn in third.

This series championship utilized a points system which factors in the significance and size of each event, and then recognizes the top teams and the top individual skippers and individual crews accumulating the most points.
