Battle narrows at Sunfish Worlds

Published on September 18th, 2019

Bonaire (September 18, 2019) – The third day at the 2019 Sunfish World Championship faced light and fickle winds that forced delays and allowed for only two races. After posting a 11-3, overall leader David Hernández (GUA) saw his margin shrink from 12 to 2 points as Renzo Sanguineti (PER) in second overall won the day with a 3-1.

With a lay day tomorrow and light, shifty winds forecast for the final day afterwards, there is a chance that it’s a two-boat race for the win.
