The 2019 Cressy High School Singlehanded Championship attracted the top 36 high school sailors from across the USA on November 2-3 in Santa Barbara, California.

Lucas Sawin ’20 (Crown Leadership Academy; Mt Pleasant, SC) dominated the 18 Laser Standard Full Rigs while Chapman Petersen ’22 (The Hotchkiss School; Lakeville, CT) and Nicholas Reeser ’21 (St. Thomas Aquinas High School; Fort Lauderdale, FL) tied in the 18-boat Laser Radials fleet, with Petersen winning on countback.
