Sail East at Bay Wind Regatta
St Margarets Sailing Club, Glen Haven, NS
July 16th – 19th 2020

St Margarets Bay is one of the many great sailing venues in Eastern Canada and is no stranger to hosting regional, national, and international events. Over the years, SMSC has hosted numerous Sail Canada regional and national championships, and the conditions rarely disappoint. This year, Sail East will be held in conjunction with the Bay Wind Regatta, an annual event at St Margarets Sailing Club that is held every July.

Sail West
Gimli Yacht Club, Gimli, MB
July 31– August 3

Gimli Yacht Club was originally borne out of a need for a sailing centre for the 1967 Pan Am Games in Winnipeg. Since that time, it has hosted regional, national and international championships, including a second Pan Am game in 1999. Most recently, Gimli hosted the Sail Canada Sail West Regional Championships and Canadian Laser Championships in 2016 and was the sailing venue for the 2017 Canada Summer Games.

Sail Central at Fruitbowl
Hudson Yacht Club, Hudson, QC
July 16-20

The annual Sail Central Championships will be held at no other than the Hudson Yacht Club. Sail Central will once again be hosted in partnerships with Hudson’s Fruitbowl regatta, as it has been for the last number of years. As the years have passed, HYC has always put on a great event, welcoming everyone with open arms and putting on a great regatta.

Youth Championships
Royal St. Lawrence Yacht Club, Montreal, QC
August 27-30

Royal St Lawrence Yacht Club has a long tradition of hosting events and the club is very excited to be hosting the 2020 Canadian Youth Championship next summer. One of Quebec’s premier yacht clubs, RStLYC has a long history of producing successful dinghy and keelboat sailors and has been host to numerous championship regattas over the years.

Senior Championships at CORK OCR
Portsmouth Olympic Harbour, Kingston, Ontario
August 14-18

Based at the Portsmouth Olympic Harbour, CORK is one of the most reputable event leaders. The freshwater sailing capital of the world is home to one of our main Championships. Year after year, CORK continues to bring together sailors, volunteers for great racing.

Women’s Keelboat Championships
Hudson Yacht Club, Hudson, QC
October 14-18

Hudson Yacht Club was founded in 1909 and is situated on Lake of Two Mountains in beautiful Hudson. HYC has been a frequent host of Sail Canada Championships, being the venue of the Sail Canda Sail Central Championships for many years.
