VIDEO: Showcasing Ivanpah conditions

Scott Young shares the current surface conditions at Ivanpah:
I shot this video on March 7, 2020. The wind was blowing a steady 18-20mph when I shot this video of my wife Patty sailing her Blokart. I would say that the surface is pretty smooth with almost no dust. The surface does get a little soft and wavy when you get way out closer to the freeway, but that’s never a problem because we don’t race out that far. There is rain in the forecast on and off for the next 8-10 days. How much rain? We never know. I will keep a close eye on the surface conditions and let people know if things change.
