There are special characters and adventurers that stand out in the sport, and this week we feature Aussie 18ft skiff sailor David Witt who heads up the Hong Kong based Sun Hung Kai/Scallywag team and US adventurer Skip Novak who has done four round the world races and each year sails South to Antarctica, Cape Horn, and the seas around there. We also feature kiwi Phil Robertson who is a match racing heavy, sailmaker Vittorio d”Albertas from Italy who sheds light on Luna Rossa’s square-topped mainsail, and Yaonn Richomme who is skippering a VO65 in The Ocean Race 2021-22.
