86th Vineyard Race

The 86th Vineyard Race on Long Island Sound gathered 82 teams on September 4 for the Cornfield Point Course (116 nm), Seaflower Reef Course (143 nm), and the Vineyard Race (238 nm) in Stamford, CT. For the long course, Jason Carroll’s MOD70 Argo was first to finish (00:14:53:55) enroute to winning the multihull division, Chris Sheehan’s Pac52 Warrior Won took overall honors in ORC, and Adam Loory’s Custom Goetz 40 Soulmates, competing as a doublehanded entry, claimed the PHRF overall title.
