Sunfish Class begins Masters Champs

Tampa, FL (March 8, 2021) – Seven straight days of Sunfish racing kicked off today with epic conditions for the start of the 2021 Sunfish International Masters Championship. Eugene Schmitt (above) dominated the day, winning three of the four races in 15-20 knots which had more than half of the 59-boat fleet retiring before the end of the day.

The Masters is scheduled for March 8-10 followed by US Team Race Championship on March 11 and the US Nationals on March 12-14.
