Three medals for USA at Junior Pan Ams

Cali, Colombia (December 4, 2021) – The final day at the Junior Pan American Games shuffled results in the one person dinghy while the windsurfing divisions stayed to form.

Dolores Moreira Fraschini won both races to take gold in the ILCA 6, dropping Charlotte Rose (USA) to silver.  Chilean Clement German Seguel Lacamara entered the day tied with Juan Pablo Cardozo (ARG) in the ILCA 7 but beat the Argentine in both races to claim gold, with Leo Boucher (USA) falling from the podium to fifth.

In the iQFoil, Mariana Aguilar Chavez Peon (MEX) and Marcos Quiroga (ARG) won gold while Mexico and USA claimed medals in both the men’s and women’s events.

The Junior Pan Am Games is for athletes in the Americas aged 18 to 23, with Sailing one of the 39 sports featured at the inaugural event with racing held December 2-4 on Lake Calima.
