2024 Formula Kite Europeans

The 2024 Formula Kite European Championship attracted 137 kiters from 39 nations for the racing on March 18-24 in Mar Menor, Spain. Reigning World Champions Max Maeder (SGP) and Lauriane Nolot (FRA) respectively won the men’s and women’s titles (above), with France also runner-up in the men’s and second and third in the women’s. For the USA, which pioneered Formula Kite event, the top finishers were Markus Edegran in 23rd and Daniela Moroz in 8th place. – Full report
