Damn kids, Get off my lawn

There was a time when the sport of sailing was easily recognized, but not so much these days. Who would have thought that dominating above the water – completely in the air – would win a sailing world championship title? That’s on the schedule for August 20-24 in St. Peter Ording, Germany.

The GKA Youth Big Air Kite World Championship will showcase the world’s top young kiteboarders going as high as possible, with amplitude, extremity and combining technical difficulty maneuvers.

Wind conditions will play a factor in what can be performed as hooked in maneuvers will have the emphasis and Big Air moves will be the goal of what the judges are looking for and the criteria that will be prioritized.
