All-America Teams named for college

The College All-America Teams for the 2024-25 season recognized 71 individuals in Open and Women’s categories for skipper and crew. Yale University led all schools with 10 honorees, with only Stanford (9) and Tulane (7) included in what otherwise was dominated by east coast schools. Women’s Sailor of the Year Vanessa Lahrkamp (’26 Stanford) was the only recipient of two honors – Open Skipper and Women’s Skipper.

The All-America Selection Committee consists of one representative from each of the Inter-Collegiate Sailing Association (ICSA) Conferences and one additional representative each from MAISA and NEISA. The All-America Selection Committee was made up of: Chair – Bill Healy (NEISA), Johnny Norfleet (NEISA), Dillion Paiva (MAISA), Isaac Clark (MAISA), Esteban Forrer (SAISA), Charles Higgins (SEISA), Geoff Pedrick (MCSA), and Chris Klevan (PCCSC).
