Clever people have done it again

A spinnaker drop on a TP52 is a thing of beauty as 3,000 square feet gets stored in five seconds, but the hoist is pretty cool too. Prior to the windward mark, the bow man pulls the spinnaker head from the hatch, drags it under the jib foot, and then clips it to the headfoil.

Clips it to the what?

To keep the sail close to the jib and under control during the hoist, the C-Clip System has revolutionized downwind sail handling. This video shows how clip integrates with the halyard to prevent tangling, twisting, or excessive movement as the sail is raised. Brilliant!
