Also the Club Marine Pittwater Coffs Race start, the last boat out of the Sydney heads in the “Hobart” was Maserati after it cut a spectator buoy off its keel, we talk to GeryTrentesaux the skipper of Courrier Lyon, the Clipper “Hobart” race and we catch up with Spindrift 2 in their attempt to win the Jules Verne Trophy. Comanche, Rambler 88 battle for line honours while Wild Oats XI and Perpetual LOYAL both crashed out of the race and Balance takes the “Tattersall Cup” silverware.
