Brian Porter wins E Scow Nationals

Published on September 8th, 2019

Muskegon Lake, MI (September 8, 2019) – The 2019 E Scow US Nationals wrapped up today with the 7th and final race in a shifty North East breeze with ranges from 6 to 10 knots.

A left shift at the start made it difficult to make the line on starboard, and those that kept their speed and able to tack to port with a clear lane made big gains. Vincent Porter on I-2 won the race while Brian Porter I-49 in 4th (above), sailing with RJ Porter, Annie Rowe, and Colin Rowe, secured the overall title.

Racing was from September 6 to 8.
