Marvin Beckmann wins Etchells World Championship

Rosignano, Italy (June 14, 2013) – On the fifth day of the Etchells World Championship, a west-northwest wind allowed for one race in very difficult conditions, with some of the top teams suffering huge losses in the overall ranking. Winning the race was American skipper Peter Duncan who moves up to second overall, but with only one race remaining on Saturday, none of the teams can beat Marvin Beckmann and his crew of Steve Hunt and Ezra Culver. European Champion Ante Razmilovich drops to third place after today’s result of 30th place.
