New records around Britain and Ireland

The World Sailing Speed Record Council has confirmed the establishment of new World Records for Around Britain and Ireland in a 40-footer (outright) plus for a singlehanded 60-footer and 40-footer. The records were set by Ian Lipinski (FRA) in the Class40 Ordago, setting the time of 7 days 17 hours 50 minutes and 47 seconds (9.54 knot avg.) from July 2 to 9, 2020.
