No water, No regatta

Published on April 8th, 2014

It has been confirmed that due to the unprecedented extreme drought this year in California, water levels for Huntington Lake will not be sufficient to hold the 2014 High Sierra Regatta on July 12-13 and July 19-20. Situated in the Sierra Nevada at an elevation of nearly 7000 feet, the annual event hosted by Fresno Yacht Club is a highlight for trailerable one design and small handicap boats in western USA. The club is optimistic that the 61st edition can occur in 2015. Event details.
