Proctor wins battle, Gonzalez wins war

The 57th Annual Lightning Midwinter Championship on March 19-21 had two days of sailing conditions and one day of no racing as the Lightning Southern Circuit completed its second and final leg in Miami, FL. After leading on day one, Ched Proctor with his son Charlie Proctor and Scott Gise narrowly held on to through the three races on day two to win the title after racing was abandoned on day three. Three points back in second was Allan Terhune, Jr. with crew Katie Terhune and Marcus Eagan. Winning the Circuit is Tito Gonzalez with crew Trinidad Gonzalez and Christian Herman.
