Singlehanded reference time established for crossing English Channel

Whitley, UK (June 5, 2015) – Hannah White (GBR) has established a new reference time for a person to cross the English Channel in a single-handed dinghy. Sailing a Moth, White started from Cap de Gris in France, landing in Dover, England, crossing the 24 mile distance in 3 hours, 44 minutes and 39 seconds. The reference time is pending official ratification by Guinness World Records.
