Take drudgery out of the delivery

Mallorca, the largest of Spain’s Balearic Islands, is a notable racing venue and hub for marine services in the Mediterranean. Neighbor island Ibiza, on the other hand, is a well-known global party hub, but does also host Ibiza JoySail for the superyacht crowd.

To encourage these 100-footers to leave Mallorca for Ibiza, they established The Perpetual Trophy for these yachts to establish a record for the the 48 nm passage. The current record holder of 3 hours and 31 minutes was set in 2024 by the 194-foot ketch-rigged Maximus.

To complete the fastest time possible, a weather window between August 15 and September 16 allows teams to wait for favorable weather conditions, but arrival must also be in time to prepare for Ibiza JoySail on September 17-20, 2026.

The Perpetual Trophy also features records across different categories, allowing yachts of varying lengths and specs to chase their own benchmark times. Need to promote participation in your event? Set up a record system to take drudgery out of the delivery.
