Published on October 10th, 2015

For the 20th edition, the Mini Transat – Îles de Guadeloupe started from Douarnenez (France), where the fleet of 72 Mini 6.50 solo sailors departed Breton harbour on September 19 to Lanzarote (Canary Islands). This distance completes the first stage, with the second stage to start on October 31, taking the fleet across the Atlantic to finish some three weeks later in Pointe-à-Pitre (Guadeloupe).

The fleet is divided into two divisions: prototype (proto) boats and production (series) boats.

This video by Luke Berry is of the first stage where he finished fourth in the prototype division.
