First Woman to Sail Around Antarctica

The World Sailing Speed Council (WSSR) has confirmed the establishment of a new performance certificate for women seeking to sail around Antarctica under the WSSR rules. Set by Lisa Blair (AUS) on the 50-foot monohull Climate Action Now, she sailed the route with one stop from January 22, 2017 to July 25, 2017 in a time of 183 days 7 hours 21 minutes and 38 seconds.
