Florence Takes Aim at South

(September 12, 2018) – Florence, a dangerous Category 3 hurricane, is showing signs of slowing down, but still due to hammer the Carolinas and Appalachia for days with catastrophic flooding and destructive winds at least through Saturday (Sept 15). Life-threatening storm surge will occur near landfall and for some time after, with Florence’s remnant lingering in parts of the East coast into early next week. This storm is shaping up to be one of the strongest hurricanes on record for this part of the coast. Full Report.
