Florence Takes Aim at South

(September 12, 2018) – Florence, a dangerous Category 3 hurricane, is showing signs of slowing down, but still due to hammer the Carolinas and Appalachia for days with catastrophic flooding and destructive winds at least through Saturday (Sept 15). Life-threatening storm surge will occur near landfall and for some time after, with Florence’s remnant lingering in parts of the East coast into early next week.
