Scuttlebutt received the image above and note below from John David Taylor:

To celebrate Francis Joyon on IDEC Sport win in the 2018 Route du Rhum, I would like to share my painting which I had done to document their successful campaign to capture the Jules Verne Trophy. They have set the standard for others to emulate. I hope others can appreciate their achievements.

Description of work: This representative painting is of the French Ultim trimaran “IDEC SPORT” skippered by Francis Joyon rounding Cape Horn on January 12th, 2017 in her pursuit of the “Jules Verne Trophy” awarded for the fastest circumnavigation. Francis Joyon and his crew sailed the 22,461 theoretical miles in 40 days, 23 hours, 30 minutes and 30 seconds, at an average speed of 22.84 knots. Out on the water, they actually sailed 26,412 miles at an average speed of 26.85 knots.
