Volunteers needed for ICSA Selection Committees

Published on August 16th, 2021

The Inter-Collegiate Sailing Association (ICSA) is looking for nominees to serve as a volunteer selector on one of our two National Championship Selection Committees (one each for Women’s and Coed Championships). Starting in the fall of 2021, all ICSA National Championships will have the majority of their competing teams selected by these Committees.

The ICSA Women’s Selection Committee will have a total of five selectors with at least three of whom must be Women. They will select at large teams for the ICSA Women’s Singlehanded National Championship and the ICSA Women’s Fleet Racing and Team Racing National Championships.

The ICSA Coed Selection Committee will have a total of five selectors with at least two of whom must be women. They will select at large teams for the ICSA Men’s Singlehanded National Championship, the ICSA Match Racing National Championship, and the ICSA Coed Fleet and Team Racing National Championships.

Ideal candidates will have a knowledge of College Sailing, will know how to navigate the techscore online results system, and will be able to spend time keeping up with results during the season.
