America’s Cup: Impossible is not French

The entry period for the 37th America’s Cup opened December 1, 2021, and since then the teams revealed to challenge the Emirates Team New Zealand (NZL) are:

• INEOS Britannia (GBR)
• Alinghi Red Bull Racing (SUI)
• Luna Rossa Prada Pirelli Team (ITA)
• NYYC American Magic (USA)

There may be other teams that have entered, but it is customary for the defender to allow the entrant to reveal its confirmed status at their discretion. The entry period runs until July 31, 2022, but late entries for the 37th America’s Cup may be accepted until May 31, 2023.

Perhaps it is a result of the next edition being held in Spain which has prompted this Facebook post by Stephan Kandler:


The America’s Cup is my childhood dream. After being with several French teams very closely, I decided in 2001 to launch my own challenge in the 32nd edition in Valencia. Part of a white leaf this epic will have deeply marked me and proved that France is one of the few countries that has everything to win it.

Sometimes you have to know how to wait for the right time to go again.

It’s been a year now that we’ve put together an incredible group to introduce ourselves on the starting line with the best French team ever, bringing together talent at the top of their art and exceptional technological means snails.

The 2022-24 international competition schedule will be intense and fantastic with four additional trophies to be won: America’s Cup, Women’s America’s Cup, Youth America’s Cup, and the SailGP circuit.

K-Challenge aims to register in the duration and leave a legacy by preparing for the future and training the talents of tomorrow. Therefore, many technological developments are also in the maps that will allow for major innovations that will contribute to the transitionecologicaltransition of transport.

Impossible is not French!


Following the publication of the AC37 Protocol and AC75 Class Rule on November 17, 2021, the AC75 Class Rule and AC Technical Regulations were finalized on March 17, 2022. The entry period opened December 1, 2021 and runs until July 31, 2022, but late entries for the 37th America’s Cup may be accepted until May 31, 2023. The Defender was to announce the Match Venue on September 17, 2021 but postponed the venue reveal, confirming it would be Barcelona on by March 30, 2022.
