2022 ILCA 6 Youth World Championships

The 2022 ILCA 6 Youth World Championships were held July 25-30 in Shoreacres, TX
For sailors under 19 years, 50 women and 156 men competed in the 11 race series. Ireland’s Eve McMahon dominated the women, winning eight races to collect her third 2022 title after winning the ILCA 6 Youth European Championship in Greece and the Youth Sailing World Championship in the Netherlands. Mattia Cesana (ITA), who won six of the races, was also the clear winner among the men. USA had the top North Americans with Robert Meek (5th) and Katharine Doble (7th). – Details
