The wacky report of the week comes from the Daily Star which revealed how a self-proclaimed time traveler has warned of a devastating storm that will hit the United States’ east coast.

Said Facebook user Kim Windell Necos: “Warning everyone I’m a time traveler from the 2090. On August 14 2022, the worst hurricane in history hits South Carolina; this will be first ever category 6 hurricane with wind speeds of over 250mph known as ‘the first one’ it causes billions in damage and many people lose their lives. Be safe everyone.”

The chilling message was shared onto the Facebook group Time Travel in April 2022 when a group member did a screen grab, re-posting in August 9 as a reminder to the almost 30,000 members. It has garnered a lot of comments though most remain skeptical, largely due to scientific forecasts to the contrary.

However, the internet clearly loves the idea of time traveling with nearly 700 million results on the topic, despite evidence failing to live up to the claims.

In another news report, a TikToker named Kawhi Leonard had predicted America’s biggest earthquake known as the “The great split” on July 14, 2022, and then the self-proclaimed time traveler warned how two million people would mysteriously disappear on August 9, 2022.

Neither proved true. As for Charleston, stay safe this weekend.
