Triple Crown of Charity Sailing

Published on April 1st, 2019

Competing to test skills and pursue glory is a worthy recreation, but it goes next level when participating can help others too. That is the mission of the Annual Triple Crown Trophy of Charity Sailing in Annapolis, MD.

The Leukemia Cup, The CRAB Cup, and The Hospice Cup, the three major charity sailing events in the Chesapeake, are teaming up again in 2019 to maximize the impact of their mission.

Following a successful inaugural 2018 season in which John Heintz was awarded the trophy, the three charity sailing events are jointly promoting participation in all three events by skippers who wish to compete for the overall trophy to be presented in October.

The skipper finishing highest in all three races while raising the most funds for the three charities will be crowned the trophy winner.
