Published on January 16th, 2014

Skipper Thomas Coville (FRA), who has been on standby since November in Brest, France to set a new solo around the world record on his 31m maxi-trimaran Sodebo, plan to depart tonight. Coville will head to the starting line at Créac’h Lighthouse located on the island of Ouessant to commence the attempt. Coville had aborted his initial attempt on Nov. 13 after only one day, a result of minor gear failure. Team website.
