Italy dominates Laser Radial Youth Worlds

Four titles were granted at the 2018 Laser Radial Youth World Championships held August 20 to 25 in Kiel, Germany. There were 365 sailors between 15 and 18 years from 45 nations, with the schedule including two races a day except for the final day when the light winds only allowed one race.

The winners of the four titles were:
Girls U19 – Matilda Talluri (ITA)
Girls U17 – Alex Schonrock (GBR)
Boys U19 – Guido Gallinaro (ITA)
Boys U17 – Cesare Barabino (ITA)

The top North Americans were from USA as Lillian Myers was 5th in Girls U19, Asher Zittrer was 14th in Boys U19, and Will Foox was 7th in Boys U17.
