2.4mR North American Championship

Dee Smith (USA) topped a field of 16 competitors to win the International 2.4mR North American Championship on July 5-7 in Kingston, ONT. Smith won his four title in a row, beating Allan Leibel (CAN) by five points with Tony Pocklington (USA) a point back in third. Honorable mention to Tim Ripley (USA) who finished 9th representing Scuttlebutt Sailing Club.
