PHOTO: Sailing and flying just got closer

François Gabart’s SVR-Lazartigue flying Ultim trimaran features a radical aerodynamic approach with no deckhouse – just a fighter pilot cockpit. At 32 meters long by 23 meters wide, the flat deck runs from the bow to the aft arm except for two small bubbles, port and starboard, located just behind the mast, on either side of the boom.
