Ryan Finn: East before south

(January 24, 2022; Day 7) – Ryan Finn, who is attempting a solo journey from New York to San Francisco on his 36-foot proa Jzerro, has taken an easterly route due to a low moving across his path to the south, but needs to find an opportunity to turn right toward the equator. With recent daily runs in excess of 250 nm, he is attempting to eclipse the current solo world record of 81 days.

Finn began the 13,225 nm effort on January 18, 2022.
