Spithill returns to Italian challenge

Italian America’s Cup challenger has secured the services of Jimmy Spithill (AUS) and Francesco Bruni (ITA), who formed an effective dual helming combination in the 2021 America’s Cup, along with non-sailing skipper Max Sirena. Spithill and Bruni have already had long sessions on the team’s simulator in Cagliari, and have reportedly been joined by Ruggero Tita (ITA) who won gold in the foiling Nacra 17 catamaran at the Tokyo 2020 Olympics. – Full report
