The 2025 ILCA 6 and 7 World Championship endured challenging conditions on May 12-17 in Qingdao, China. After four consecutive days of still air and thick fog, racing got underway with light winds on day five that built to squall conditions on the final day. Louise Cervera (FRA) won the 6-race ILCA 6 series while 23-year-old Willem Wiersema (NED) claimed the ILCA 7 title after five races. Charlotte Rose (USA) was the top North American, finishing 8th in the ILCA 6 fleet.
