The 66th Annual National Family Island Regatta on April 24-27, 2019. Since 1954, traditional Bahamian sloop compete in George Town’s Elizabeth Harbour. It is the oldest and largest wooden boat racing in The Bahamas and attracts the best sailors from all of the islands to compete in the various classes.

Class-A Winner – New Legend, from Mangrove Bush, Long Island skippered by David Knowles, who also was awarded the “Best Skipper” award.

Class-B Winner — Lonesome Dove, from Hope Town, Abaco, skippered by Jeff Gale.

Class-B Winner — Lonesome Dove, from Hope Town, Abaco, skippered by Jeff Gale.

Class-C Winner Whitty K, from Mangrove Bush, Long Island, skipped by Stefan Knowles.

Class-E Winner Lady Kayla, from Cottage, Exuma, skippered by Chris Rolle.
