Two new transatlantic records

The World Sailing Speed Record Council has ratified two World Records, confirming a new time for the Monohull 60 ft Transatlantic and Singlehanded Monohull 60 ft Transatlantic. Alan Roura (SUI), sailing the IMOCA 60 Helvetia, completed the course in 07:16:58:26 on July 11-19, 2019. The previous records were held by Marc Guillemot (FRA) on Safran who set a time of 08:05:20:20 in July 2013.
