Recall: Risk of drowning to users

The quality control of Helly Hansen is under question as the equipment manufacturer has issued a recall in May 2026 for its buoyancy aids that pose a risk of drowning to users due to production failures. Users are instructed to stop using the recalled product and destroy the equipment. This recall follows a similar notice in July 2025 when certain lifejackets did not meet the applicable certified standards and posed a risk of drowning to users. – Details
