Big boats finish Marblehead-Halifax Race

(July 9, 2019; Day 3) – The lead boats in the Marblehead-to-Halifax Ocean Race have completed the 363 nm course, with the Volvo 70 Warrior owned by Steve & Stephen Murray Sr. & Jr. taking line honors (1:10:23:12) but losing on corrected time to the US Naval Academy team on the R/P 66 Zaraffa which finished six hours later (1:16:24:00). Next to finish will be Navy’s Ker 50 Wahoo which is reaching along at 9 knots, with just 14.7 nm to the finish as of 20:00 ADT.
