The 2026 World Sailing Annual Conference and World Sailing Awards will be held November 16-21 in Qingdao, China. The event will bring together over 400 international delegates and notable contributors for an opportunity to shape the future of sailing.
“The Annual Conference is always a special occasion,” noted David Graham, World Sailing CEO. “The global sailing community is able to come together, discuss proposals, celebrate our successes, and share suggestions to improve the experience for sailors at all levels while speaking openly about challenges facing the sport worldwide and create new opportunities for the growth.
“The World Sailing Awards is undoubtedly the highlight of the year and a wonderful opportunity to share and celebrate the achievements of so many athletes from across the sport, as well as shine the spotlight on those working tirelessly to innovate and support the development of sailing worldwide.”
Quanhai Li (CHN) was elected as World Sailing President at the 2020 conference and is currently in his second four-year term.
Further information on the conference, including the submissions, agendas and supporting papers, is available on the World Sailing website.
The Annual Conference open sessions will be streamed live on the World Sailing YouTube channel.
